A cyclist can come across a lot of adversity while trying to train and enjoy the sport of cycling as it's not always black and white, but how they deal with that adversity may alter their success for the better or for the worst. This blog is about what I'm going through as a cyclist while trying to be a husband, father, and working for the “man”. Of course life is more involved than that, but this is one piece of it...my piece...more or less.

Going On Hiatus
The blog will be going on hiatus for a while, until October 1st. I don't have much going on in the next month as far as racing and who wants to hear about me riding sporadically throughout September. My wife's fall semester started last week and the kid starts school again tomorrow so my evenings will be getting quite a bit busier for a while, the blog is one of the first things to be sacrificed for time's sake. Once they both settle in to school and I start doing some cross-training through the fall I'll start updating again and will obviously resume normal blogging throughout my winter training. Until then, I'll be working on getting the yard stuff done before the cold weather hits, practicing guitar, getting the Pinarello ready to ride in the late fall and winter, and splitting some firewood before it gets to cold. Of course it's supposed to be 86 degrees on Wednesday, but only 68 for a high by Saturday, gotta love Wisconsin weather. Well, until next time.......
