A cyclist can come across a lot of adversity while trying to train and enjoy the sport of cycling as it's not always black and white, but how they deal with that adversity may alter their success for the better or for the worst. This blog is about what I'm going through as a cyclist while trying to be a husband, father, and working for the “man”. Of course life is more involved than that, but this is one piece of it...my piece...more or less.

Here I am!!! Again!!
Well, this is my first post and here's a little about me to get this started. I'm a former bicycle racer that used to race in the Pro/1/2 category and after 10 years away from the sport I have decided to get back in to it and give it another try. I will be starting over as a Category 4 racer and hope to just finish most of my races this year as I don't think I'll have what it takes this year to win a race, but who knows??!!!! This web site will chronicle the the year as I train to become a top racer once again. I'll write about all my trials and tribulations and hope to convey the dedication and sacrifice that it takes to be a bicycle racer. I'm 32 years old so I'll be doing mostly Masters 4/5 races with some Cat. 4/5 and citizens' races thrown in during the year. I'll also be juggling time for my family as I am married and have a 12 year old son so I'll have to be very efficient with my schedule in order to get in cycling time and family time. Well, that's a little bit about me and there will be lot's more to follow...............
