Winter in Wisconsin

Dressing for 14 degree wind chill
Another cold day today, 26 degrees with a 14 degree wind chill, and definitely less sun than yesterday. The weathermen said that is was supposed to be warmer today than yesterday, boy did they lie. Anyway, I got in a ride of 1 hour and 40 minutes, which is a little less than the 2 hours that I had planned but once I got home and realized I was going to be short my options were to head inside or ride around the block for 20 minutes. I decided to head inside.......of course! The one thing about riding outside in this weather is the pain of thawing out, no hills hurt me more today than the pain of my big toes thawing out, now that is painful!! Well, it's supposed to be warmer this week but of course I work until 5:00 so I won't be able to enjoy the good weather outside. Next weekend it's supposed to be 40 on Saturday and 45 on Sunday but also a chance of showers. Wednesday is the 1st day of March so the tunnel is there, I don't see any light yet, but it's getting closer anyways. Can't wait for the warm weather. Until next time........
